fields of Buddhism and Psychotherapy in dialogue, Neville
Symington internationally renowned psychoanalyst and author,
and Venerable Ajahn Brahm, distinguished Buddhist teacher,
author and Abbot of Bodhinyana Monastery.
VENERABLE AJAHN BRAHM (or Brahmavamso).
An extraordinarily engaging and entertaining speaker and
author of several books on Buddhism, he qualified in Theoretical
Physics at Cambridge University then trained 9 years in
the forests of Thailand with the late highly revered Ven.
Ajahn Chah. Currently, Ven. Ajahn Brahm is the Abbot of
Bodhinyana Monastery near Perth, Spiritual Director of several
Buddhist organisations and Vice-Chair of the Australian
Sangha Association.
NEVILLE SYMINGTON. Internationally renowned psychoanalyst
and author of many authoritative books and papers on Spirituality,
Religion, Buddhism and Psychotherapy, Neville was also the
former President of the Australian Psychoanalytic Society.
He held senior positions at the Tavistock Clinic London
before migrating to Sydney in 1986 where he is now in private
practice. Neville has presented keynote addresses in many
